Welcome to our Studio!
Quad City Motion Dance Company started in 2010, offering many dance and fitness classes. It is the top dance school for belly dancing in the Quad Cities and is the first to bring belly dancing kids classes in the area. We strive to put our energy and passion into each student, having the patience and dedication for each individual to walk out learning so much more about the art of dance.
We take pride in teaching all ages and all levels!
Here what our students have to say about our company:
"I joined the Quad City Motion dance team only a few months ago. From day one, Samantha made me feel like I belonged! I had never actually taken any dance lessons before, but I just liked to do it for fun. She is a talented choreographer and dancer with great energy! The 2017 Dance Gala Show (my first one) was very successful! I was impressed with all of the performances! If you are looking for dance classes that are energetic, fun, and valuable, I would recommend this studio."
"On a whim, I started going to Taghreed's belly dance workout class. Years later it has helped keep me in shape, but even more - it's boosted my self confidence. Her classes provide a venue for women supporting other women through fitness and fun!"
"These two ladies were awesome! They made my friend and I feel so comfortable, like we really belonged there! It was my first time ever doing Zumba and I absolutely loved it!"
"Being in the show was an amazing experience! Sam and Tag are so awesome and they make everyone feel welcome whether you're a beginner or you've been dancing for years. I'm super excited to perform more for the Motion team!"
"I'm not shy anymore because I make a lot more friends than I used to and more self-cofidence because I got used to seeing big crowds so I'm not scared anymore. It helps me in school because it's not a challenge to talk."
"It's helped me lose weight, toned my muscles, improved my arthritis, improved my self-esteem...It makes me feel better about myself. It makes me feel young and pretty again. It's the fountain of youth. And I've met some wonderful friends."
-Sue, Age 48
"It keeps me fit. I like dancing more than exercising at the gym. I like to be active and it maintains my weight. I like the benefits that comes with it. Performing was something that I never even thought of; or that I could even do. It helped me get involved in the community for fundraising events. It also opened up the opportunity for me to learn about different cultures."
